About Us:

Hello

We are excited to share with you the development of our girls section based at Cheshunt Rugby Club, Rosedale.

Our aim is to grow together, build solid foundations and support our club.

We have approx 20 girls attending weekly training sessions aged 11-18.

We would like to establish a sustainable section with ages 6-18.

Our coaches are all volunteers and will endeavour to teach full contact 15 a side, 7 a side, XRUGBY7 and touch / tag rules. With mixed age grade rugby available.

The girls and teams supporting will have coaching opportunities made available to them and other rewarding events like festivals where the girls get to play clubs and schools in Hertfordshire and other counties.

Also we will continue to host international teams where possible.

We would like to play rugby as a community level club and reach for England by hosting their youth squads on the new AGP. Our club enables all abilities to play this game with various events.

We work with local community and council, Saracens project rugby and their charitable arm providing after school clubs. Plus Herts RFU and England RFU.

We will sustain the above ideas and ourselves with your help and sponsorship. Whether it be your time, resource, other gifts or financial support through the lottery and with donations/grants. The above is all happening right now due to the generous volunteers giving time to coach us. Hoever we would like to do more and give more back. That is where you come in!

We will give back to community with initiaves like fitnfed and yoga classes for all. Plus we have an old container to do up with the aim of holding talks and providing useful, adecuate shelter. We also would like to plant trees and ensure this area is a safe place for all who visit.
